Other years
Confirmed from your VIN
Our table does not list a battery for these Tundra model years: 2022 or newer, and anything before 2007. Rather than guess, the technician confirms the exact battery from your VIN and sends the full price before dispatch.
Send my VINWhere the battery is on the Tundra
Under the hood, in the engine bay. On 2007–2021 trucks, a 27F is almost two inches longer than a 24F, so the tray and hold-down on your truck decide which one goes back in. The redesigned 2022 and newer Tundra uses a different battery with its new engine, and parts listings disagree on its size, so we confirm those trucks from the VIN.
AGM and start-stop
For 2007–2021 Tundras, a standard battery fits. AGM is an optional upgrade in the 24F size, worth it if the truck sits for long stretches, makes a lot of short trips or runs accessories with the engine off. We do not currently offer a Platinum AGM 27F.
Whatever the table says, we replace AGM with AGM: if the battery in your truck is labeled AGM, a flooded battery is not a substitute. Read AGM vs standard batteries.
Hybrid models
Hybrid versions of the Tundra are matched separately from the VIN, since their 12-volt battery can be a different size and sit in a different place. See hybrid and EV 12-volt batteries.

Where is the battery on a Toyota Tundra?
Under the hood, in the engine bay. On 2007–2021 trucks, a 27F is almost two inches longer than a 24F, so the tray and hold-down on your truck decide which one goes back in. The redesigned 2022 and newer Tundra uses a different battery with its new engine, and parts listings disagree on its size, so we confirm those trucks from the VIN.
Can I put a 27F in a Tundra that came with a 24F?
Usually not. A 27F is almost two inches longer, and it needs a tray and hold-down made for that length. We install the size your truck was built with, which we confirm from the VIN.
