Confirmed from your VIN

AGM and start-stop
2024–2025 Mustangs need an AGM battery. A standard flooded battery is not a substitute.
For 2015–2023 Mustangs, we install the Duralast standard 96R. We do not currently offer a Platinum AGM in this size.
Whatever the table says, we replace AGM with AGM: if the battery in your car is labeled AGM, a flooded battery is not a substitute. Read AGM vs standard batteries.
Battery registration
Some late-model Mustangs monitor the battery through a sensor on the negative cable and adjust charging as the battery ages. On those, the new battery may need a reset or registration so the car charges it correctly. We check from your VIN and tell you before the appointment.
