SUV and pickup truck batteries, installed where you park

Full-size pickups and SUVs carry big electrical loads: aftermarket lights, winches and long idle times. We bring the right size and cranking power for your truck and install it at home, at the shop or on the job site.

Common pickup and SUV battery sizes

Older Ford trucks and SUVs often use group 65, while F-150s from 2015 on use H6 (48) or H7 (94R). Many GM pickups and SUVs use H6 (48) or H7 (94R) on newer models and side-terminal 78 on older ones. Ram and many Jeep models use H7 (94R). Toyota trucks and SUVs often use 24F, with 27F on some V8 models. These are starting points only. We confirm the exact battery for your truck from the VIN before dispatch.

Diesel pickups with two batteries

Heavy-duty diesel pickups usually run two batteries together. When one is weak, the other works harder and fails sooner, so we recommend replacing both at the same time with matching batteries. Tell us it is a diesel when you book and we quote the pair.

Work trucks and fleets

If you run several trucks out of one yard, we can replace batteries across the fleet in one visit. Call to set it up, and we confirm the batteries and price for each vehicle first.

Common questions

How much does mobile battery replacement cost?

Your total has four parts: the battery’s retail price, a refundable core charge where it applies, installation labor for your vehicle and Texas sales tax. TotalPro batteries are listed from about $119.99, Duralast standard batteries from about $179.99 and Duralast Platinum AGM batteries from about $259.99 before core charge, labor and tax. Labor starts at $90 and depends on how hard the battery is to reach. The battery finder shows the battery price and the labor for your vehicle, and we send the confirmed total before we dispatch. See how pricing works.

Why do you confirm the price before sending a technician?

Battery prices and stock change, and taxes and fees depend on the exact battery. Confirming the battery, the availability and the full price before dispatch means no surprise charges and no wasted trip with the wrong battery. The final price is confirmed before we send the technician, based on availability, taxes and fees.

Can you come to a job site, yard or truck stop?

Yes. Give us the address or exact location, any gate or access instructions and a contact on site, and we confirm the battery and price before heading out.

When do I pay?

After the battery is installed and the vehicle starts. Nothing is charged before the work is done.

What warranty comes with the battery?

The warranty depends on the exact battery. Duralast standard batteries are currently listed with a 2-year warranty, Duralast Platinum AGM batteries with 4 years and Duralast Heavy Duty commercial batteries with 1 year. We confirm the warranty terms for your specific battery with your quote and give you the paperwork after installation.
