Dodge Charger battery replacement in Dallas–Fort Worth
Chargers keep the battery in the trunk, with only jump-start posts under the hood. We replace Charger batteries in driveways, apartment lots and parking garages across DFW, including the trunk panel work that comes with it.

Confirmed from your VIN
Our table does not list a battery for these Charger model years: 2024 or newer, and anything before 2011. Rather than guess, the technician confirms the exact battery from your VIN and sends the full price before dispatch.
Send my VINWhere the battery is on the Charger
In the trunk. On 2011–2023 Chargers the battery is under an access cover in the trunk floor, and the posts on the passenger side under the hood are remote jump-start terminals. The battery connects to a vent hose, so it is replaced with a vented battery of the same type. A trunk battery takes a little longer than an under-hood one, since the cover comes out first and the vent hose is reconnected afterward.
AGM and start-stop
On 2011–2023 Chargers, some trims need AGM. If yours has auto start-stop, or the battery in it now is labeled AGM, it needs AGM again.
Whatever the table says, we replace AGM with AGM: if the battery in your car is labeled AGM, a flooded battery is not a substitute. Read AGM vs standard batteries.
Battery registration
Some late-model Chargers monitor the battery through a sensor on the negative cable and adjust charging as the battery ages. On those, the new battery may need a reset or registration so the car charges it correctly. We check from your VIN and tell you before the appointment.
